This is the second poster for the Lewis and Clark National Historical Park and is a recreation of the first contact that happened between the Indians and the ships that were exploring the Northwest Coast line. This work is still in progress. I am working with the Native Tribes, the National Park Service, and a Washington state Historian to make the scene as accurate as possible. I wanted the viewer to have the perspective of the native people seeing a large sailing ship for the first time. Can you image what that must have been like?
